About Me

Southern Highlands, NSW
Welcome to my world. I am a young Shi Tzu puppy who lives in considerable comfort at Lynwood Farm with THEM. I’m fascinated by the way people live - in the rooms they build, the gardens they plant, the treasures they collect and the comfort they create. THEY give me the complete run of the house, so I will be able to show you lots of pictures of life at Lynwood.

Sunroom Supper

Our friends the Dwyers bought their house guests over for Friday night supper.
Bella and I always enjoy the extra attention we get from visitors (I think Ruth secretly would rather like to take me home).

I think they're coming!

The last of lots and lots of herbacious peonies from the cutting garden.
All the peonies get fertilised on Melbourne Cup Day and Anzac Day (a great tip from an old friend years ago).

The real thing, for a change.
THEY have eaten rather a lot of red cabbage lately so this one is not
going to make it to full size …….much prettier on the table than on the stove.

  1. I just love your dining chairs - they're fantastic. The whole setting just looks beautiful. Did you have the chairs made for you?

  2. your house is gorgeous.

I wish I could grow peonies.

But I know that some varmint would eat them.

    1. Tree peonies are actually quite tough and very easy to grow, the herbaceous can be a little
      Tricky though

  3. Hi

I always enjoy calling into your blog, having recently found it. When I have spare time I will have to catch up with your previous posts. I agree with faux fuchsia above your home is gorgeous. I also really love reading about your friends and having their homes featured on your blog. I think one of my favourites was your friend Cameron Kimble. I bought Vogue just for his feature!

I do have a question from your blog post. You mention that you fertilize twice a year and I was wondering is that just your tree peonies or does this include bush peonies as well? I have a friend that gave me a couple of bush peonies about 4 or 5 years ago. I've never done anything extra with them and I guess that's the reason why I've only had a couple of flowers from them in that time. Is there a particular fertilizer that you use?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Enjoy the rest of your week.

    Take care
